FAMILY AFFAIR FILMS

 

Family Affair Films is an Amsterdam based production company that develops and realizes tv drama, short and feature films of high artistic quality. We work with new talent and continue our relation with established makers.
We produce original, urgent and contemporary films. We want to be involved in a personal way and therefore we work very close and intense with our filmmakers and their films. Our feature film CODE BLUE by Urszula Antoniak, co-produced with IDTV Film and Zentropa was selected for Cannes’ Quinzaine des Realisateurs 2011. We produced the multi award-winning feature film NOTHING PERSONAL by Urszula Antoniak ( 6 awards in Locarno, 4 Golden Calfs Utrecht), in coproduction with VPRO, Rinkel Film and Fastnet Films. Furthermore Family Affair Films produced the video installation DISORIENT from artist Fiona Tan and produced over 10 short films with directors Marc Kniphorst, Mirjam de With, Janneke van Heesch and Diederik van Rooijen.

Currently we are producing 2 One Night Stands in coproduction with NTR, VPRO and VARA. BALLAST by Mirjam de With, written by Anke Boerstra and IK BEN RIO by Tami Ravid, written by Cecily Levy.

We are developing tv series WYN EN WETTER for Omrop Fryslan, feature film LOUD by Anete Lesnikovska, NATION FOR TWO, an experimental film by artist duo Chaja Hertog and Nir Nadler and VRIJSTAAT, a feature film written by Bastiaan Tichler and to be directed by Mirjam de With.

After graduating from the Dutch Film and Television Academy (2001), Floor worked as a line producer for production company's like Egmond Film and Television (tv series MEIDEN VAN DE WIT, VAN SPEIJK and feature film DON) and Dutch Mountain Movies (television film KILKENNY CROSS and feature film HET LEVEN UIT EEN DAG)

NOORTJE WILSCHUT

assistant to producer

Finished her Bachleor in Communications at the Noordelijke Hogeschool Nederland and took a course at the Dutch Film and Television Academy. She met Floor while working on tv series VAN SPEIJK. Noortje was production manager at NOTHING PERSONAL and has worked of and on for FAMILY AFFAIR FILMS since 2008. From november 2011 she is a permanent employee.
